The Richemont International Club is a worldwide organization which brings together the individual national clubs of the same institution.
Each Richemont Club, in each country, has the mission of promoting the philosophy of the prestigious Richemont School and, above all, the values of teaching, sharing knowledge and valuing the art of baking and confectioning.
Currently, the Richemont Club has representations in Switzerland, Belgium, Mexico, Austria, Spain, Luxembourg, Croatia, Serbia, Germany, Great Britain, Peru and, more recently, Portugal.
And just as it has become custom in the Club’s calendar, an annual meeting is held between all representations, in which the youngest club is bestowed the honor of organizing the “Internacional Richemont Club Meeting.” This year the honor was awarded to Portugal.
Between the 2nd and 5th of September, 120 professionals from our sector attended this event, which, based on a vast program of activities, included visits to various cities and landscapes in our country, different tastings, and cultural and gastronomic experiences, and, a visit to our “home” in Vagos.
It was with great pleasure and good spirits that we opened the doors of Ferneto, to all members of the Richemont Club, to let them know how we work and develop our equipment. The event culminated in an excellent workshop on custard tarts and cornbread, given by the Richemont team of demonstrators in our Bakish Center.
Clube Richemont Portugal has created, since its founding in Portugal, numerous workshops and training activities, living up to the motto of sharing knowledge, their commendable work in the permanent enhancement of the bakery and pastry sector in Portugal… A welcome.
