From equipment to flour and lots of networking, Ferneto was once again present at IBA, the most important international trade fair for the bakery and pastry industry, which took place from 18 to 22 May in Düsseldorf, Germany.
In this edition, which returned to Düsseldorf, the IBA covered 100,000 square metres, with 985 exhibitors from all over the world united by a common goal: to drive the future of bakery. But more than machines, our sector is made up of people, as is the IBA. Different people, from different realities, but who share the same aim: to improve processes, generate profitability and create relationships of mutual growth. To do this, they look for differentiated solutions and services.
With this spirit, we showcased some of our innovations, including:
- IoT Spiral mixer, with Removable Bowl and Bowl Lift, which, when integrated, deliver high productivity, improved ergonomics, and reduced time and physical effort on production lines;
- Washable Industrial Mixer (BFI), with IoT technology, designed for demanding environments with strict hygiene standards;
- Automatic and semiautomatic dough dividers, adjustable to different volumes, weights and dough types;
- Automatic dough sheeter, combining precision sheeting with high production control;
- Pie-tart press, meeting the needs of industrial pastry and confectionery production while preserving artisanal quality.
These machines are designed to simplify operations and maximize profitability, but above all, to serve the diverse segments of today’s industry: artisanal and concept bakeries, semi-industrial businesses, niche or large-scale production for distribution, modern confectioneries, and emerging projects.
We believe that technology is a tool, but what truly drive transformation is a commitment to quality, cooperation and valuing people and their goals.
We returned from Germany inspired by the hundreds of visitors to our booth, the familiar and new faces, the meaningful conversations, and the ideas we brought back, confident that together, we are building a stronger, more sustainable, and more connected industry. See you in Munich in 2027.
