Another solution for the industrial food sector, a pie-tart press. It is a piece of equipment that transforms balls of dough/pastry into pies ready to be filled, at a rate of around 600 units per hour.

Developed based on the innovative dough press known as the “Portuguese custard tart machine”, the PTF has been created to meet the need of shaping products with larger dimensions, with diameters of between 170 and 350 mm.

Based on the same principles as its PMF counterpart, Pie-Tart press operates very simply: just place the ball of dough/pastry in the centre of the tin, put it into the PTF, wait and then remove the tin. In a question of seconds, the PTF distributes the dough/pastry uniformly in the metal tin.

Designed for the entire industry, the PTF makes it possible to manufacture pies, quiches, pasties and other products with bases made of puff and short pastry and other doughs, according to the size, format and configuration requested by the customer.

This will be one of the pieces of equipment on show at the Intersicop Fair, to be held between the 19th and 21 of February (2017), in Madrid.
